Viewing your Insertion Orders (IO) in Ad Shop

The IO lists out purchase information for a given campaign.

Your IO is vital! It shows you what a customer bought and how much money you will receive from running the ad.

You should always double-check them to ensure there are no mistakes so that you get all the money you deserve.

To find your IO, go to your Orders page and toggle to the Insertion Order tab.

You can see these details from your Insertion Order dashboard:

  • Ad Ref ID: A unique identification number assigned to each ad to differentiate easily between them.

  • Status: The current stage of the advertisement, such as Canceled, Ready, Pending, Completed, etc.)

  • Start Date: The date that ad is scheduled to run on.

  • End Date: The last date the ad is scheduled to run on.

  • Campaign Type: Local vs national campaign.

  • Creative (creative file): The ad itself.

  • Creative Due: The deadline the ad's creative is supposed to be uploaded by the buyer.

  • Verification (verification file): A file, screenshot or metrics proving the ad ran as expected.

  • Verification Due: Deadline the verification is due by. (Failure to upload the verification on time will affect your payment.)

  • Order Ref ID: A unique identification number assigned to the order that the ad is part of.

  • Customer: The name of the buyer placing the ad.

  • Campaign: The name of the campaign that the order is a part of.

  • Medium: Medium refers to the larger category that the ad belongs to, such as Print, Website, Email, etc.

  • Ad Unit Name: The specific descriptive name of the ad, such as "Newspaper | Standard Edition | Full Page | Full Color"

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): A unique code that the platform automatically generates for each ad type in your Media Kit.

  • Ad Size (W x H): The physical or digital dimensions of the advertisement, typically measured in inches or pixels.

  • Position: The specific location of the ad within the medium, such as "Front Page" or "Above the Fold."

  • Quantity: The total number of ads purchased from this ad type.

  • Amount: The total price of the ad.

  • Comments: A space where you can leave additional notes for yourself or your team.

Click on the icon in the Order Ref column to automatically create a .pdf, which you can then download and save for your records.
