Updated this week

All Out-of-home/Digital OOH verifications must be submitted on the platform on the scheduled run date. We need to prove to buyers that their OOH ads were up at the start of the window they've paid for.

To verify any OOH/DOOH units, like news rack/digital screen ads, upload a high-resolution photo of each news rack/screen with the appropriate ad installed on the scheduled run date.

Any verifications received after the first week of the scheduled run date will be subject to a reduction in the final payout price.

OOH/DOOH Requirements:

  • Submit high-quality photos of each rack/screen, including the broader backdrop. We want to see what these racks/screens look like on campus so please include action shots of students walking by and/or campus scenery.

  • We require verification photos for every rack/screen that’s booked. Ex: If we book ten racks/screens, there needs to be a photo of all 10 OOH/DOOH locations

  • All verification photos must be uploaded in .jpg or .png format

  • Our technology enables us to capture location data with the photos and build out campus news rack/screen maps for buyers. Visit api.app.flytedesk.com/mva on your cell phone’s browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) to get started.

*There are requirements to OOH/DOOH that we can book. For example, an 8 x 10 paper taped to a newsrack stand does not count as OOH and we cannot book it as such. If you are unsure whether or not your OOH or DOOH is acceptable, please contact your account manager.

Additional information is not required. However, we encourage you to go above and beyond to let national buyers know extra details about your OOH/DOOH ads. For example, if the ad is in a high-traffic location on campus or students commented positively on the ads.

Pro-tip: Take a photo of each rack/screen as you install the ad - no backtracking necessary!

Note: If an ad is not verified within 3 business days of the scheduled run date, it puts your ad payment at risk. Read more about our verification policy!
