Yes. Folkyn allows you to manage freelancers who operate through an umbrella company.
When onboarding a freelancer, simply select the “Umbrella company” option. Folkyn will automatically adapt the onboarding process accordingly.
In practice:
KYC and legal documents are collected and verified at the umbrella company level, as this is the legal entity your company contracts with.
The service agreement is issued and signed with the umbrella company, rather than directly with the freelancer.
The freelancer remains identified in Folkyn as the person carrying out the assignment, so you can still manage their profile, assignment, internal point of contact, and operational follow-up.
A dedicated product flow for umbrella companies is built into Folkyn to clearly distinguish between the freelancer carrying out the assignment and the umbrella company handling the contractual and administrative relationship.
This allows you to manage both direct freelancers and freelancers working through umbrella companies within the same platform, with the appropriate workflow for each.
