What is a bug?

A flaw or error in an action that causes Foodsmart For Dietitians to behave unexpectedly or produce incorrect results

What is NOT a bug?

Non technological issues related to:

  • General support, Billing, Payment, Scheduling, Member support, Foodsmart Bucks, Food delivery, etc.

Bug Example: When I click the Nutriquiz link, I get an error message

Non bug example: I need help with administering a Nutriquiz

Why is bug reporting so important?

  • There is documentation (for future audits) on the issue

  • We can track, at scale, the number of tickets that come in related to specific topic; this information will help us understand if there are widespread issues it.

Issues you may encounter in Foodsmart For Dietitians that are NOT a BUG

Accessing Foodsmart For Dietitians/Appointments

  • Can’t log in (OKTA, Foodsmart For Dietitians tile missing, Foodsmart For Dietitians version is wrong??)

  • Missing NutriQuiz, Risk Assessment or Zoom Links

Scheduling Appointments (Follow Ups)

  • My Schedule/Availability isn't correct in Foodsmart For Dietitians

  • Can’t schedule a patient (no license)

  • Visit limit reached - incorrect

  • Default payment required

  • Committee approval needed

  • Unenrolled provider

  • Appointment type (initial/follow up) is not correct

  • No providers available (reschedule)

Charting/Billing

  • Chart is finalized but task is still showing in my task list

  • Billing codes are not listed in Foodsmart For Dietitians drop down (Quartz example)

  • I can’t see or there are no chart notes from previous visits in Member Management

    • Visit history in the appointment will be limited to the last 2 visits

    • Complete history is available from Member Management

  • Duration or Billing Units need to be adjusted

  • Finalize Send to Billing option is not available at the end of my chart

  • Saved and exited the chart but my updates didn’t save

    • Refresh

      • Member Management

      • Member has more than one Foodsmart.com account

      • Members insurance isn’t verified

Examples of a BUG that might warrant an ERROR ticket

A task you are performing in Foodsmart For Dietitians doesn’t save, and/or the system responds in a way that doesn’t match the training or FNN “how to guide” - for example

  • You cannot access your dynamic zoom link

  • The START VISIT button will allow you to begin charting

    • if you select START VISIT and you CANNOT proceed with charting - this is a BUG

  • The Duration field is calculated using the start and end times of the visit

    • if the duration calculation isn’t populated or the calculation is incorrect (and the start/end times are correct) - this is a BUG

  • You select the Go to Visit button from a past missed appointment

    • Go to Visit button does nothing - this is a BUG

  • Your transaction in Foodsmart For Dietitians produces an error message that is not listed anywhere in FNN or “How To” - this is a BUG

How to report an Error in Foodsmart For Dietitians

Report Issue

  • If an error occurs while scheduling or closing a chart

  • Click on Report Issue

  • Complete the Bug Submission form
