How to set up a login for a team member in Copilot

Creating Copilot users is typically the responsibility of the team's power users (admins). If you aren't sure who your power users are, ask around! Create a user by following the steps below.

Creating users/Adding users to your team's Copilot:

  1. Select My Team from the top right settings (Gear icon). 

  2. Select the Create User button in the upper right.

  3. Enter the user’s first name, last name, and email address.

  4. Select a user role for your colleague (Admin, Manager, Contributor)

  5. Select the brand or brands the new user will have access to in Copilot.

    Note: You can only give access to brands you yourself have permission to access.

  6. Tick the checkbox for User Authentication to login via Okta (This requires Condé Nast or brand email address), leave it unchecked for external users.

  7. Select the Create button. You will receive a success message at the top of the screen, and the user will receive a welcome email from Copilot with setup instructions.

All the Copilot users for your brand are listed on the My Team page. You will also see Copilot developers and designers, so you might not recognize everyone!

Re-notifying Pending Users

Users that have not yet set up their account will be labeled as Pending. Their profiles display a "Notify User, Again" button. Click it at any time to send the user another welcome email.

You will see a success message at the top of the page that confirms your re-notification.

Resetting 2FA

Users should reset their own 2FA by clicking "Reset My Six-Digit Code" on the login page. They will receive an email which will allow them to scan in a new barcode.
