Subsets are folders you can create inside of a Set to add another layer of organization to your projects. They help you break down large collections of frames and motions into smaller, more manageable sections.

Common Uses for Subsets

Subsets are incredibly flexible. You can use them to keep your work tidy and your creative process smooth. They are great for situations where you need to group content within a larger project, such as:

  • Organizing a shot list into different scenes or sequences.

  • Grouping images by different vibes or color palettes for a mood board.

  • Arranging content into different slides or sections for a treatment.

How to Create and Use a Subset

Creating a Subset is fast and simple, allowing you to organize on the fly without breaking your flow.

  1. Open the Set where you want to add a new level of organization.

  2. Click the + New button located at the top of your Set.

  3. Select Create Subset from the menu.

  4. Give your new Subset a name and press Enter.

  5. To add content, simply drag and drop any frames or motions from your Set directly onto the Subset.

  6. Click on the Subset to open it and view the contents inside.
