How to create unique moments in FRANK with Tickets

Learn how to work with Tickets en offer special moments through the widget.

Tickets Explained

First things first, what are Tickets? With Tickets, you can create unique moments and promotions to offer directly through your own website. Even better: you can easily promote them via your newsletter or social media. Choose an eye-catching image, write a personal text, and guide your guests through the booking process in a fresh and welcoming way.

How to create a new Ticket

  1. Go to ManageTickets

  2. At the top right corner, click on + Ticket

Once you’ve clicked + Create Ticket, you’ll see four sections on the left side:

  1. Appearance: set how the Ticket will be displayed in the widget.

  2. Marketing: decide whether you want to recommend the Ticket as a suggestion.

  3. Price: set whether (and how) you want to ask for a full or partial deposit.

  4. Email: choose whether additional information should be included in the confirmation email for this specific Ticket.

Setting up your Ticket step by step:

Follow the four steps below to properly configure your Ticket. Read what to add for each step:

Ticket Settings: Appearance

  • Add an image that clearly represents what the Ticket (i.e. the experience you’re offering) is about.

For example: offering a Wine Tasting? Add a photo that showcases that.

The image will appear in the widget and will also be included in the confirmation email for that Ticket.

  • Choose a color for the Ticket. This color will be used in your reservation overview — helping you easily recognize which Ticket a guest booked. You’ll quickly see, for example, whether you have more High Teas or Wine Tastings that day.

  • Add a title and description for the Ticket.

  • Do you use multiple languages? Make sure to add the title and description in each language.

Ticket settings: Marketing

Want your Ticket to stand out? Enable this option. The Ticket will then be highlighted in the widget as a popular moment.

Tip! this is especially useful for special occasions or one-time events that deserve extra attention — like a Christmas menu or seasonal special

Ticket settings: Price

Want to ask for a full or partial deposit? FRANK makes it easy to set this up per Ticket.

For example, you might ask for a deposit on weekends, but not on weekdays. Or for seasonal menus, but not for regular lunch or dinner moments.

Tip! Want to highlight a discount? Turn on Show original price and enter the original amount. Guests will immediately see how much they’re saving — perfect for temporary offers, special menus, or last-minute deals. It draws attention faster and can be the extra push that makes someone book.

Ticket settings: Email

Finally, under Email settings, you can decide whether any additional information should be included in the confirmation email.

Do you use multiple languages? Don’t forget to add the correct text for each language.

Displaying your Ticket in the widget? Connect it to a Shift.

After creating a Ticket, it won’t automatically appear in the widget. You first need to link it to a Shift to define when it’s bookable.
