Transfer your security deposit and get your check-in info

Get your keys in three simple steps:

  1. Transfer your security deposit

  2. Upload proof of the deposit in your profile

  3. Receive your Check-In info

Transfer your security deposit

In order to hand over the keys to the apartment, the rental deposit should be sent to your landlord.

The transfer must be made before picking up your keys.

To avoid any delays please complete the transfer 3 days before your contract start date.

The bank account and landlord info for the transfer can be found under your booking.

Upload proof of your deposit

Once you send the transfer, upload a screenshot or a pdf of it under your booking so that we can verify the transaction.

Receive your keys

Three four before moving in, check-in instructions will show up under your booking.

The check-in and check-out instructions are only available starting 4 days before your move-in or move-out. Before that, the “View check-in/out instructions” button will not be visible.

There are two common ways how the key exchange is handled. The exact method that applies to you is shown directly in your booking.

1. Automated check-in (electronic or key box)

In most cases, the check-in is handled automatically, either:

  • electronically (e.g. smart lock), or

  • via a key box

If this applies to your booking:

  • You will find the full check-in documentation directly on the website under your booking

  • Follow the instructions provided there step by step

2. Key exchange handled by the landlord

In some cases, the landlord handles the key exchange personally.

If this applies to your booking, you will see the note:

“Your host will handle the key exchange”

In this case:

  • The landlord will contact you directly or has already shared instructions

  • The landlord is responsible for handing over the keys

The landlord’s contact details can be found:

  • At the top of your rental contract

  • Under your booking in the platform

You can only retrieve your keys on the day of move-in. We do not support early check-ins.

Our availability on weekends/public holidays is limited. If you run into problems retrieving your keys, please reach out to the host. Their contact details are found at the top of you rental contract under your booking.

Getting a registration form (Meldezettel)

Due to legal restrictions every registration form must be signed personally by us in our office.
