Geofencing allows you to set a safe boundary where your EarthRover can drive. This way, you can define an area to prevent the bot from going outside of your chosen zone.
How to Set Up a Geofence
Follow these steps:
Log in to https://rovers.frodobots.com/
On the left-hand menu, click Geofences
Select the bot you want to assign a geofence to
The map will automatically zoom in to your bot’s current location
Start drawing your geofence by clicking on the map to create points
Keep clicking to shape the boundary
To close the loop, click back on the first point you placed
Click Save to confirm the geofence
That’s it! Your geofence is now active, and your EarthRover will stay within the defined area during its missions.
