How TeleArms missions are scored

Updated this week

After you click Complete Mission, the system reviews your run and calculates your score based on how well your actions aligned with the mission requirements.

Minimum Duration Requirement for Scoring

TeleArms missions must meet a minimum duration to be eligible for scoring.

If a mission runs for less than 5 minutes, it will not be sent for scoring, even if you click Complete Mission.

To ensure your mission can be scored, make sure the session runs for at least 5 minutes before completing it.

What Is Mission Duration?

Mission duration is the total amount of time your mission runs, starting from when the mission begins until you click Complete Mission.

This includes:

  • Time spent controlling the robot

  • Time spent attempting the task

  • Any pauses or delays while the mission remains active

Mission duration only ends when you explicitly click Complete Mission.

How Scoring Works

Each TeleArms mission is evaluated using three components:

Relevance

Relevance measures how closely your actions matched the mission objective.

If a mission is deemed not relevant by the system, the run will not receive points or Qualified Minutes (QM).

Progress Multiplier

Progress reflects how much of the mission you completed.

The more progress you make toward the objective, the higher this value becomes.

Difficulty

Difficulty increases the score for missions that require more movement, steps, or precision.

The difficulty level is automatically determined by the system based on what it detects in the mission video. For example, placing an object into a basket may be scored as less difficult if the object is already in the grippers and no movement is required. If the task requires repositioning, movement, or careful alignment, the difficulty multiplier increases.

All three components are combined to produce your final score.

The scoring system is still being refined, so you may occasionally see changes in how points are calculated as improvements are rolled out.
Missions completed according to the mission requirements will still be scored.

Maximum Score

The highest score you can earn in a single mission is 1,000 points.

Your final score will fall between 0 and 1,000, depending on relevance, progress, and difficulty.

Checking Your Scoring Status

You can view your scoring status in Mission History on your dashboard.

Each mission will show whether scoring is:

  • Pending – the system is still analyzing the mission video

In most cases, this process does not take more than a few minutes. Once the analysis is complete, the status will update automatically, and your score and Qualified Minutes (QM) will appear.

If a mission remains in Pending status for longer than expected, you can report it by replying with the mission title and a screenshot.

  • Completed – scoring is finished, and results are available

Once scoring is complete, you will be able to see your relevance, difficulty, final score, Qualified Minutes (QM), and other mission details in your history.
