No, you won't earn Lifetime Score points if you don't successfully complete the mission. Scoring only happens on successful completions after you click "Complete Mission."
How Scoring Actually Works
Scoring only happens after you click "Complete Mission."
Clicking Complete Mission tells the system to review your actions and score the mission
Closing the tab, refreshing the page, or exiting without clicking Complete Mission will result in the mission not being scored, even if you performed actions toward the objective
What Earns Points
You earn Score points when:
You successfully complete the mission objective
You click Complete Mission
💡Note: Only successful missions earn Score points. Failed missions earn zero Score points but your ELO will still update.
Mission Example: Cube Handover
If you:
Move the robot toward the cube
Position the gripper
Successfully pick up the cube and hand it over
Then click Complete Mission
→ The mission is scored and you earn points based on your performance.
If you perform the same actions but close the tab without clicking Complete Mission:
→ The mission will not be scored and you will earn zero Lifetime Score points.
Key Takeaway
Clicking Complete Mission is required for scoring
Only successful mission completions earn Score points
Failed missions earn zero Score but ELO still updates
Leaving the mission without clicking Complete Mission results in zero points
