QM (Qualified Miles) are used by the system to measure meaningful driving activity.
You can only earn QM by driving an EarthRover, either:
You are driving your own, or
You are driving an EarthRover owned by someone else
QM is used by the system to determine how much your driving contributes toward earning points.
How a Drive Turns Into QM
Not every drive automatically becomes QM.
When you start a drive and record it, the system reviews your driving activity and evaluates it based on quality and relevance. Drives that meet the requirements generate Qualified Miles (QM).
How QM is calculated depends on how the drive is scored.
Important Notes
QM is earned only through driving
Test drives do not generate QM
Driving without recording does not generate QM
QM is then used to determine points earned
