WHAT IS MY "CURRENT STREAK" IN ATOM?
It's time for you to log into ATOM and poof, your dashboard appears along with some handy dandy workout stats. Total workouts? Got it! This is an easy metric to understand. Current Streak? Hold on now! What is that, and how does it work?
The current streak "score" is not per workout but based on your weekly training day goal. We automatically set everyone's default "goal" to 3. So once you log a workout on 3 training days, the streak score will move to 1 and continue as long as you log at least 3 workouts on 3 separate training days each week.
If you want more of a challenge, you can increase your weekly training day "goal" from 3 to 4 or 5 by clicking on the MAIN MENU icon (located at the top left), selecting "PROFILE," and scrolling to "SELECT YOUR TARGET, TRAINING DAYS PER WEEK."
HOW DO I AVOID THE COMMON PITFALLS THAT CAN RESET MY CURRENT STREAK TO ZERO?
You are killing it in the gym, and your current streak is rising! π One morning, you log in to start your workout and see '0' under your Current Streak. What happened???
There are a few common pitfalls that could explain the reset. Here is what you need to know and what you should avoid:
The "training week" in the ATOM platform is Monday through Sunday. Therefore, the workouts for a single week need to be logged/saved Monday through Sunday.
β
Log only one workout per training day during the training week.
β
If you work out two times in one day, go ahead and log it! Just know that ATOM will only recognize one workout per day (not both) toward your weekly training day "goal."
β
This is also true if you log multiple sessions in one day. Perhaps you go back to Monday and Tuesday to log those workouts on Wednesday; that would not count towards the streak.
A great way to check if you have logged more than one workout on a training day is to review your training journal by clicking on the MAIN MENU icon (located at the top left) and selecting "TRAINING JOURNAL."
If you see two of the same dates on the left, you have logged two workouts on the same training day (ex., the two workouts logged on FEB 22 in the example will only count as one workout).
REMEMBER: Your workouts (at least one per training day) need to be logged on the workout date to count towards the current streak "score," as the platform only sees the workout date logged as the data point to track.
As always, don't hesitate to contact one of our team members if you have any questions about your current streak. You can do that by navigating to the message icon in ATOM or by emailing support@functional-bodybuilding.com.
