What these issues may look like:
The command "Jump To" is not working as expected (such as moving to an unexpected tooth or position)
Spot-charting is marking incorrect positions or teeth
Skip/back/next are not working as expected
Say the tooth number on its own. Leave the word "tooth" out of jump commands. "Tooth" can be transcribed as "two", so "jump to tooth fourteen" may be heard as "jump to two fourteen" and the cursor will not move. Say "Jump to fourteen".
Troubleshooting steps
1. Review Exam Settings
1. Select a patient and then navigate to Perio (under Clinical)
2. Make sure the Tooth Navigation Script is set to 1-16B / 16-1L, 32-17B / 17-32
Warning:
As the warning note (in the image above) suggests, using a Tooth Navigation Script other than 1-16B / 16-1L, 32-17B / 17-32, will likely result in issues
If this section did not resolve your problem, please continue to the next section.
2. Back/Skip/Next commands
Currently, Back, Skip, and Next voice commands are not supported in Fuse.
Workaround:
Although these commands are not yet fully supported, you can still use "Jump to fourteen" to navigate around the chart. Say the number on its own; including the word "tooth" can cause the command to be misheard
