đ Understanding Geo-Fencing
Geo-fencing is a restriction your company can use to control which Gable locations appear on your on-demand map (or not appear).
If a location falls within a restricted area set by your company, you wonât see it in search results or be able to book it. This is often done to keep bookings within certain areas or to avoid bookings near your companyâs offices.
đĄ Why is Geo-Fencing Used?
đşď¸ Keep bookings in preferred areas â Your company might want bookings to happen only in specific regions or cities.
đ˘ Avoid overlap with company offices â Your company might block booking other workspaces nearby to encourage booking within you Company Office.
đ What This Means for You
When searching in a popular city and see no results, this is an indication that there is a restriction in place.
If you donât see a workspace you know exists on Gable, it may be hidden because of your companyâs geo-fence settings.
You can always check with your Admin or Gable Support if you believe a location should be available.
