👥 Who Are Bookers?

Bookers are often Executive Assistants, team managers, or coordinators who reserve spaces for others in the company. You can manage bookings for yourself and on behalf of teammates—even those not yet on Gable.

✅ What You Can Do

As a Booker, you can:

  • 🔍 Search for Spaces — Browse On-Demand and Company Office spaces using filters for date, location, capacity, and amenities.

  • 🧾 Book & Assign — Reserve for yourself or assign bookings to teammates at checkout.

  • 💳 Use Personal Payment — If enabled, choose or add a personal credit card at checkout.

  • 📅 Manage Bookings — View or cancel bookings (per cancellation policy).

  • 📍 Override Limits — Like Admins, you can bypass certain restrictions when booking for yourself or others:

    • HQ desk assignments

    • Space type restrictions

    • Multiple seats in common space (On-Demand)

    • Hidden locations & geo-fences

    • Excluded spaces list

    • Company budget limits when booking on behalf

  • 👥 Book for Non-Gable Users — If someone exists in your HR system, you can book for them; Gable creates their profile automatically.

  • 🔕 Control Notifications — Option to turn off booking notifications for the person you’re booking for (you’ll still get them).

🚫 What You Can’t Do

Bookers do not have:

  • Access to Admin Settings (company policies, integrations, billing)

  • Ability to edit workspace listings

  • User management (invite, assign roles, deactivate)

  • Analytics or reporting dashboards

  • If the setting for Require company admin approval is toggled on - you will still need admin approval for booking.

💡 Pro Tip

Use overrides thoughtfully—especially for budget or geo-fence exceptions—to stay aligned with company policies.
