By default, companies do not have check-in email notifications enabled.

Gable sends a single check-in reminder for each booking.

  • ⏰ Sent 1 hour before the booking start time

  • πŸ› οΈ This reminder time can be adjusted (shorter or longer) if your company prefers

  • 🚫 Multiple reminders are not supported

    • Sending several reminders would create notification fatigue

    • A single reminder combined with company policy + auto-release works best to drive compliance

We intentionally send a single reminder to balance effectiveness and user experience.

  • Reduces notification fatigue and β€œspammy” behavior

  • Ensures users take action without ignoring future reminders

  • Pairs strongly with auto-release settings to enforce policy
