By default, companies do not have check-in email notifications enabled.

  • ๐Ÿ”’ Email notifications are off by default

  • ๐Ÿ”ง Gable Support can enable them for your company

  • ๐Ÿ“ฌ Once enabled, employees will receive the 1-hour reminder via email

๐Ÿ”” When Are Check-In Reminders Sent?

Gable sends a single check-in reminder for each booking.

  • โฐ Sent 1 hour before the booking start time

  • ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ This reminder time can be adjusted (shorter or longer) if your company prefers

  • ๐Ÿšซ Multiple reminders are not supported

    • Sending several reminders would create notification fatigue

    • A single reminder combined with company policy + auto-release works best to drive compliance

We intentionally send a single reminder to balance effectiveness and user experience.

  • Reduces notification fatigue and โ€œspammyโ€ behavior

  • Ensures users take action without ignoring future reminders

  • Pairs strongly with auto-release settings to enforce policy

  • Keeps the product clean and avoids unnecessary interruptions
