Blocking Off Days

Learn how to manage availability and block off days directly from your Gable calendar.

πŸ—“ Where to Find Your Calendar

You can view and manage your calendar in two places:

  1. Host Dashboard – See a high-level overview of each space's availability and upcoming bookings.

  2. Calendar Tab – Access a detailed view of each space and manage individual days.

πŸ”” Note: The Gable calendar is not connected to any external calendars you may have integrated, like Google Calendar, Nexudus, or OfficeRnD.


🚫 How to Block Off a Day

To block off a specific day for a space:

  1. Open the Calendar Tab

  2. Select the space from the left-hand menu

  3. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the day you'd like to block

  4. Click "Block this day"

Blocked days will appear in red and show a lock icon.


πŸ”“ How to Unblock a Day

To make a blocked day available again:

  1. Click the three dots on the blocked day

  2. Select "Unblock this day"


πŸŽ‰ Holiday Closures

All public holidays in your market are automatically blocked off for youβ€”no action needed!

However - If you are typically closed the day before or after a holiday, be sure to block off those days.


πŸ’‘ Pro Tip

Block off your calendar on days when:

  • You or your team will be unavailable

  • A long-term reservation (2–3+ days) is happening outside of Gable

This helps avoid last-minute rejections or confusion for users trying to book.
