Step 1: Navigate to the item page.
Step 2: Click on Add next to vendor product.
Step 3: Select the vendor.
Step 4: Choose to either select an existing packaging or add a new packaging.
Step 5: If you're adding a new packaging, create a new one. If the item already has a packaging with the same name at a different size, give the new one its own name, for example "case of 4 #10 cans."
Step 6: Assign the new vendor product to the relevant order guides.
Step 7: Click Create.
When a vendor changes its pack size
Once a vendor product uses a packaging, that packaging's size is locked. That keeps your other vendors' products, and the math on your past orders, from changing underneath you. If a vendor switches to a different pack, edit the vendor product and pick, or create, a packaging for the new size instead of changing the old one.
Updating the order guide on an existing vendor product
If a vendor product was created without an order guide, or if you need to change which order guide it belongs to, you can update it at any time from the item page.
Navigate to the item page.
In the Vendor Products section, find the relevant vendor product.
Click the three-dot menu → Edit.
Select the appropriate order guide (e.g., K-8 Schools).
Save.
💡 Note If a product is missing from a school's orders, the most common cause is that no order guide is assigned to the vendor product. Check the order guide column in the Vendor Products section on the item page. If it's empty, the product will not appear on any orders. |
