What This Controls
An order guide controls which vendor products appear on a school's orders. Toggling a product on for an order guide makes it available to the schools assigned to that guide. Toggling it off hides the product from those schools' orders even though the product still exists on the vendor.
Toggling a Product from the Order Guide
Navigate to the Vendors section from your main menu.
Open the vendor.
Open the relevant order guide.
Use the search bar to find the product you want to enable or disable.
Toggle the product on or off for the relevant school or group.
Bulk Toggling a Group of Products
If you need to turn many products on or off at once (for example, all dairy products for a new school), use the bulk action on the order guide. Select the group or category, then use the bulk toggle to enable or disable everything in the selection in one step.
Toggling a Product from the Item Page
You can also toggle a product on an order guide from the item page. This is faster when you have a specific product in mind. See Add Vendor Products to an Item for the steps.
Troubleshooting: A Product Is Missing from a School's Orders
If a product is not appearing on a school's orders, the most common causes are:
The vendor product has no order guide assigned.
The vendor product is toggled off on the order guide the school is assigned to.
To check: open the item in the Pantry, scroll to the Vendor Products section, and look at the order guide column. If no order guide is listed, the product will not appear on any school's orders.
