Let’s update your Mac operating system permissions so Google Chrome can access your camera and microphone.
Select Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.
Click Camera (or Microphone for mic settings). Select the checkbox next to Google Chrome to allow it to access your camera and microphone.
Go back to your Gatheround event and refresh the page. If you still cannot access your camera and mic, restart the Chrome app to make sure your settings are updated.
