Genie makes sure that all bundle sales pull from the stock levels of the individual products that make up the bundle, rather than having its own inventory. This way, the bundle is just a combination of items, not a standalone product.
Brands often use bundles to promote slower-selling items, add customer value, or pair products that go well together. However, tracking individual product performance in bundles can be tricky.
This guide will walk you through how to request a bundle mapping change or update.
Step 1: Navigate to the settings.
Step 2: Proceed to the bundle mapping tab.
Step 3: Here, you can see all completed bundle mappings.
This table displays your bundle mappings. By clicking on any bundle card, you can view the products included in the bundle, along with any available variants.
Step 3.5: You can click on each bundle entry to expand and view more details.
Here is where you can view all of your current bundle mappings. If this list is missing any bundles or you would like to update/change any products that are part of a bundle you can request an update from our support team.
Please request a change if any of the following apply:
The bundles are incorrect
Something is missing
There has been an update
You would like to add a new bundle mapping
Step 4: Click on the request update option.
Step 5: Enter relevant details about the bundle you want to update or create.
Clicking the “Request Update” button will give you the option to input details about the bundle you would like to change. When requesting an update it is important to include the following information:
What the bundle is + link to store listing
What the component products are + link to store listing
What the breakdown of variants/quantities look like
For example, if you have a backpack and shoes bundle you would specify what specific backpack and shoes are included and how many of each should be part of the bundle. From there provide links to the bundle itself and for each of the component products.
This ensures that we have the correct product and bundle breakdown to import it accurately into your account. This same logic applies to any changes that should be made. Always make sure to include as much context as possible so we can understand what products will be bundled with what.
