Our team is committed to building an intuitive and modern inventory management system for Shopify brands. We release new features weekly, which you can find in our release notes section. Your feedback on what we should build is valuable to us because we want to create a platform that brands truly want to use. Feel free to submit feedback using this form if you have any suggestions.

Feature Overview:

We’re updating Genie’s Stockout Date calculation to provide more accurate and reliable projections.

Currently, stockout dates are calculated based solely on current inventory levels and sales velocity, ignoring incoming inventory from purchase orders. This can result in inaccurate warnings and lead to over-ordering.

With this enhancement, Genie will now integrate data from purchase orders into its stockout projections by:

  • Including incoming inventory quantities in the calculation.

  • Factoring in estimated delivery dates to refine accuracy.

This improvement ensures users receive precise stockout forecasts, reducing unnecessary orders and building trust in Genie’s recommendations.

We are focused on building features that brands actually want to use. If you want to submit a feature request, please fill out this form. If we didn’t provide enough information about this feature, feel free to set up a time to chat with our team for more details.
