Feature Overview:
We’re introducing a new “Buy Now” Table, designed to streamline the reordering process and empower merchants to make faster, data-driven decisions.
Currently, merchants spend significant time manually analyzing inventory needs, and the lack of a dedicated reordering interface puts Genie at a competitive disadvantage. This new feature will:
Calculate a “Next Order Date”: Automatically suggest when to reorder based on lead time.
Recommend “To Buy” Quantities: Suggest quantities to cover demand until the next reorder date, factoring in reorder frequency.
Include an “Ignore” Action: Allow merchants to exclude items they don’t wish to reorder.
Enable Direct Purchase Order Creation: Generate POs with pre-filled fields based on the table’s recommendations.
This feature will simplify reordering, reduce manual effort, and set the foundation for future automation, aligning with Genie’s value proposition of telling merchants what to order and when.
