How do you create and map a supplier in Genie?
Step 1: Create a New Supplier
Navigate to the Suppliers Section
On the left navigation menu, click on Suppliers. This will direct you to the Suppliers page.
Initiate Supplier Creation
Enter Supplier Details
On the new page, you’ll see several fields for entering supplier details.
At a minimum, fill in the Supplier Name and Address fields.
Note: The other fields are optional and can be left blank if not required.
Save the Supplier
Step 2: Map the Supplier to a Product
Go to the Inventory Section
Click the Inventory button from the left navigation menu to access the Inventory section.
Select a Product
Access Product Settings
In the Product Profile side menu, click on the Settings button.
Add Supplier to Product
Save the Supplier Mapping
Click on the Save button to map the supplier to the product.
Step 3: Update Suppliers in Bulk
Close the Product Profile
If you have more products to update, close the Product Profile menu.
Select Products for Bulk Update
In the Inventory section, select the products you want to update.
Manage Supplier for Selected Products
Click on the Manage Supplier button.
Choose and Apply Supplier
