A user is any person who accesses EDGEauditor to complete reports, review submitted reports, or perform any other action in the system. Everyone who needs to do those things requires their own account.
We strongly recommend a unique login for every user. Beyond the added security, it means every report is tied back to a specific person. It's each user's responsibility not to share their credentials with anyone else.
Before you start: These steps assume you've already created your user profiles. A profile controls what the user can access, and you'll assign one during setup. See how to create user profiles if you haven't set yours up yet.
How to create a user
In the side navigation, select User Management > Users.
Select the blue Add User button.
On the new user screen, complete all required fields - those marked with an asterisk (*).
Under the User Access & Permissions section, choose a profile from the User Profile drop-down. This sets the user's permissions for both the manager dashboard and the EDGEauditor Resorts app. If the user has access to more than one location, each location will be listed separately so you can assign a profile for each.
Select the green Save button in the top right-hand corner to create the user.
Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each user you need to create.
How to edit or remove a user
From the main Users screen:
Select the hyperlinked username to modify a user's details or profile assignment.
Select the SUSPEND button to remove a user's access to EDGEauditor.
Suspending a user keeps the account and its permissions intact, so you can reinstate the user later with a single click - ideal for seasonal staff. See suspending and reinstating users for details.
