This guide walks you through how to connect your Indeed job posting directly to CLARA so every applicant flows straight into your pipeline.
⚠️ Important: If you do not see an option to select "Application URL" in Indeed, it's because Indeed has not turned this on for your account. You must contact Indeed directly to enable it. Tell your Indeed contact that you'd like candidates to apply on your company's job page, and ask to have the Application URL option turned on.

How to set it up
Step 1: Get your CLARA application link
In CLARA, go to the Job Details page for the role you want to post.
Copy the Apply link for that job. It will look something like this:

Step 2: Create your Indeed job post
Go to Indeed for Employers and click Post a Job.
Fill in the job title, company, location, job type, and salary (if applicable).
Write your job description with engaging details about the role and your company.
Step 3: Route applicants to CLARA
Find the section labeled How do you want to receive applications?
Select Redirect applicants to your external site.
In the External application URL field, paste your CLARA application link.
In the Button text field, you can customize this to say "Apply with CLARA" or keep the default "Apply on company website."
⚠️ Note: Indeed's built-in screening questions won't apply when using an external link. With CLARA, you don't need them — our assessments and scoring go deeper than Indeed's built-in questions ever could.
Step 4: Set your budget and publish
Choose your sponsorship level — you can start with a free posting.
Review your job post preview to make sure everything looks right.
Click Post Job to go live.
What happens next?
Once an applicant clicks through and submits via CLARA, our platform will automatically:

Score applicants based on your specific role criteria

💡 Use a clear call to action (CTA) in your job description. A CTA is a direct instruction that tells candidates exactly what to do next — for example: "Click 'Apply with CLARA' below to submit your application and be considered for this role." Clear calls to action remove ambiguity, increase application completion rates, and ensure candidates know they're being directed to an external site to apply.
💡 Set expectations for candidates upfront. Mention in your job description that applicants will be evaluated based on skills and potential — not just traditional experience. This builds transparency and attracts candidates who are confident in their abilities beyond their resume.
💡 Consider sponsoring your post. Sponsored listings appear higher in Indeed's search results and can significantly increase the number of qualified applicants who see your role.
