Step by step guide

Updated this week

How to Add Third Parties to a GIC Transaction 2 Different Ways

  1. Use the Vendor Tab

    • Click the vendor tab on your menu on the left hand side of your screen.

    • You can search for a title company, mortgage company or TC company.

    • Click on View Details for any company.

    • Once you find the vendor you are looking for, click Add to Transaction.

    • Search for the transaction you would like to add the vendor to.

    • Click Add to Transaction again to automatically add that vendor to the transaction.

  2. Use the people Widget within your Transaction

    • Navigate to your transaction page.

    • Click into the People widget or the People tab and select Add.

    • Toggle from Client to Third Party or Vendor

    • If you cannot find the vendor in the Vendor tab, go back to Third Party.

    • Enter the email, name and select the correct identity for vendor you are adding.

    • Click Send and they will receive an email to join the transaction and set up their free GIC account.

Watch our visibility video to see how to grant access to documents to certain vendors. (TC's automatically get access to everything but title reps and lenders do not have access to documents until you make them available to them.)
