Creating and Sharing Templates

Step by step guide on creating and sharing the 4 template options

Creating and Sharing Templates in GIC

  1. Click on the Templates tab from the menu.

  2. Click on the tab of the type of template you would like to create (Documents, Dates & Deadlines, Messages, and Transactions).

  3. Documents

    1. Click on New Template

    2. Start typing the name of the documents you'd like to create.

    3. Edit the document as needed.

    4. Rename the document if desired, then click the Checkmark to save the name.

  4. Dates & Deadlines

    1. Click on New Template.

    2. Select the Contract to Buy and Sell.

    3. Customize the dates and deadlines.

    4. Rename the document if desired, then click the Checkmark to save the name.

  5. Messages

    1. Click New Message Template.

    2. Add a subject and message.

    3. Rename the document if desired, then click the Checkmark to save the name.

  6. Transactions

    1. Click New Transaction Template

    2. Add a name for the template.

    3. Select the documents you'd like to be included in the transaction bundle.

    4. When this template is added to a transactions, those documents selected will automatically be added to that transaction.

Sharing

You can share any template with teammates in two ways:

Option 1:

  • Click three dots on the right-hand side of the template

  • Select Set Shares, choose a team to share with, and then click Save.

Option 2

  • Open the template you have created and click Share at the top right-hand side.

  • Select Set Shares, choose a team to share with, and then click Save.
