Spiral Review is built automatically and incrementally. When a teacher clicks ASSIGN on an assignment, the new targeted skills included in the assignment are automatically added to Spiral Review for the class.
To add skills to Spiral Review, create an assignment, click ASSIGN, and check the class(es) that need the assignment. Choose ASSIGN to include the skills for your students' Spiral Review.
You also could choose to assign an assignment, and then immediately turn off the assignment. Using this option would mean students would not need to complete the assignment, but the new skills would be in Spiral Review.
To turn off an assignment:
Choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon.
Choose the class from the left column.
Choose Assignments from the gray column.
Locate the assignment in the list.
From the Available column, move the slider to off (gray).
Don't forget to check the Spiral Review report for the class. You'll want to view Proficiency and monitor long-term retention of concepts.
