To make sure everything runs smoothly from day one, here’s a quick onboarding checklist to set up your Blabla account properly. This ensures Blabla can fully operate with your social media accounts.
Make sure your Instagram is a Business or Creator profile
Blabla only works with professional Instagram accounts — that means Creator or Business profiles.
How to check or switch:
Open Instagram and go to your profile.
Go to Account Settings, by tapping on the top right of the three horizontal bars then select Account Type and Tools (or similar).
If you're using a personal account, switch to a Creator or Business profile.
Here's how to set up a Business profile (or switch from Personal to Business).
Here's how to set up a Creator profile (or switch from Personal to Creator).
Without a professional account, we won’t be able to connect to Instagram.
Make sure your Facebook Page is linked to your Instagram account
For Instagram to be accessible through Blabla, it must be linked to a Facebook Page you manage.
For Blabla to connect properly, your Facebook Page must be linked to your Instagram Business or Creator account.
Here’s how to check that:
Go to your Facebook Page, open Settings in the bottom left menu, then select Linked Accounts and open the Instagram section.
If your Instagram profile is not linked with a Facebook Page yet, you'll need to:
Access to Facebook Page Settings :
Log in to your Facebook account and access the page you want to link to your Instagram account.
Access to Page parameters :
On the Facebook page, find and click on the Settings button, located on the left-hand side of the screen, to open the settings.
In the page settings menu, find and select the Linked accounts option.
Launch of the Association Process with Instagram :
Under the "Instagram" section, click on "Associate account" to start associating with Instagram.
Login to your Instagram Account :
If you're not already logged in to Instagram, you'll be requested to do so. Enter your Instagram login details to continue.
Once you've logged in, Facebook will ask you for permission to access your Instagram account. Click "Accept" or "Next" to allow access.
Confirmation of the Association :
Once you've accepted, Facebook will confirm that the page has been successfully associated with your Instagram account.
In case your Instagram Profile is linked to the wrong Facebook Page you can choose another one or create a completely new one - to do that, you need to:
Click on the connected Instagram account under the Linked Accounts section, then select Disconnect Account.
Once disconnected, you can reconnect the correct Instagram account to the right Facebook Page.
Make sure the Facebook Page is published and you have admin or full access to it.
Check your Facebook Page role
To connect your Instagram profile to Blabla, you must have the correct permissions on the Facebook Page linked to that profile. Specifically, you need to have Facebook access with Full Control (or at least Partial Control).
Here’s how to check your access:
Go to facebook.com and log in with your personal Facebook account.
Navigate to the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram.Click on Settings .
Under the Audience and visibility section, select Page setup. Then choose Page access.
From there, you can verify your access level.
If you don’t see your name listed or your role is limited, you may need to ask the page admin to adjust your permissions.
Here's how you can give, edit or remove Facebook Page access.
Without proper access, Blabla won't be able to connect or manage your Facebook or Instagram account correctly.
