Creating an Estimate
Estimate Overview Page
From the Job Details page, click on the "+" button in the Estimates section.
The Estimate overview page will contain all of the sections of an Estimate: Customer Message, Gallery, Options, Taxes, and Financing (through Wisetack).
The Customer Message field is where you can craft a message for the customer to read. This is helpful when you're presenting the Estimate on-site or when you send it to the customer. You can use the various Breezy AI options to help you craft the perfect message. You can "summarize options", "rewrite", "Greeting", or "up-sell". For best results, create all of the Options before generating a message.
The Gallery allows you to add photos to the Estimate. These could be photos of the customer's current units, problem areas, or equipment that you want to propose. When adding photos, you can select if you'd like to upload them from your device library, the job, or take a new photo.
The Options section is where you'll build all of the Options that you'd like to offer to the customer. Each Option can have a featured image, display name, and description, along with whatever line items and discounts are added.
The Tax Rate section allows you to select the tax rate that will be applied to all of the Options within the Estimate.
The Financing section allows you to send a financing link through Wisetack. When creating an Estimate, you are able to send a pre-qualification link to the customer. You will need to select which contact you'd like to send the link to. It's recommended to send the link to a customer via SMS, since the Wisetack application is tied to a mobile phone number.
Adding & Editing Options
To create the first Option, tap on the "Add an Option" link with the carrot icon. This will open up a new page where you can configure the Option.
Each Option has a "Featured Image". This image is displayed while presenting the option and allows you to show off a single line item (usually a unit if you're quoting a system replacement or IAQ device). When choosing a Featured Image, you can link it to a line item to inherit it's image, choose an image from your device library, revert to the default (which is your company's logo) or take a photo using your device.
Then go ahead and give your option a custom display name and/or description. Providing additional context to customer's during the buying process can help them differentiate between Options and make a decision.
To add line items, tap on the blue "Add Line Item" button. Doing so will display the Pricebook modal, where you'll be able to see all of your parts, services, and materials. You may select multiple line items in a single flow and can even create ad-hoc line items.
📸 If you have Pricebook Photos enabled, Pricebook categories and line items will have a small image thumbnail.
Once line items have been added, you can rearrange them with drag and drop. To edit, duplicate or remove an added line item, simply tap on it to bring up the line item actions.
You can add a discount to the Option by tapping on the "Add Discount" button. Doing so will display a modal that contains all of the company-saved discounts. If your user permissions allow you to do, you'll be able to create a custom discount by tapping on the floating blue "+ Create" button.
Once you're happy with the Option, tap on "Save".
Once you're back on the Estimate Overview page, you'll see your newly created Option. From this view you'll be able to see the Wisetack Financing banner that will display the "Or as low as $XX.XX per month" price for the option. You'll also be able to duplicate the Option or mark it as "Recommended", which gives it a slight blue color to help it stand out in the presentation mode.
Sending & Accepting
Once an Estimate has been created, it turns into a read-only state. Any created Options are now displayed in a horizontal carousel instead of a vertical list and additional actions become available.
To Send an Estimate, tap on the "Send" button. You'll be prompted to select a contact, which will pre-fill in contact information in the Preview Message step. You can send the Estimate via Email or SMS and can customize the pre-populated text to your liking. If you send the Estimate to a customer and the status is "Created", it will be updated to "Sent" (if an Estimate has already been presented then it will remain in the "Reviewed" status).
ℹ️ Note that you can't present an Estimate from the back office version of Breezy. Present mode is only available in the tech app.
To Accept an Estimate on the customer's behalf, click on the "•••" more button in the action palette.
From there, click on the "Accepted" status and select which Option they want to accept. You'll be able to send them a copy of the accepted Estimate.
Creating an Invoice
If you'd like to create an invoice from an accepted Estimate, navigate to the Estimate and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click on the blue "Create an Invoice" button. A modal will appear that will prompt you to enter the service completion date and the net terms. When ready, Click on "Save" to continue. This will create the Invoice and set it to the "Open" status.
More Actions: Change Selected Option, Download PDF, Update Status
You can access additional actions by tapping on the "•••" more button in the bottom action palette.
This will review a modal that contains actions to: change the selected option (if the Estimate is in an "Accepted" status, download a PDF, or manually mark the status (Sent, Reviewed, Accepted, Voided, Closed - Lost).
