Company Settings is where you configure the core information about your business.

This information powers how your AI agents communicate with customers. The more accurate and detailed your settings are, the better your chatbot and voice agent will perform.

What Company Settings Controls

Company Settings defines the information your AI agents use to:

  • Understand your business and services

  • Answer customer questions accurately

  • Accept service requests from the correct locations

  • Know when your business is open or closed

  • Notify your team when new requests arrive

Keeping this information up to date helps ensure your AI agents behave correctly.


Company Profile

The Company Profile defines the identity of your business and provides context for your AI agents.

Company name

The name your AI agents use when referring to your business

Description

A summary of what your company does. This helps the AI answer customer questions

Phone number

Your primary business phone number

Website

Your company website URL

Logo

Your brand logo

Timezone

Ensures timestamps and business hours are correct for your location

Social media links

Optional links to Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn

Service address

Your office or headquarters address

Tip

Write a detailed company description. The AI uses this information to answer questions about your services, where you operate, and what makes your business unique.


Service Area

Your Service Area defines the geographic locations where your business operates.

This helps prevent the AI from accepting service requests from customers outside your coverage zone.

You can add locations using:

  • US States

  • Canadian Provinces

  • ZIP Codes

  • Postal Codes

To add a location:

  1. Start typing the state, province, or ZIP code.

  2. Select the correct location from the dropdown list.

Adding ZIP codes or postal codes allows for more precise service coverage.


Job Types

Job Types represent the services your business offers.

Your AI agents use job types to:

  • Understand what services customers need

  • Categorize service requests correctly

  • Ask relevant follow-up questions

Examples of job types include:

  • AC Repair

  • Furnace Tune-Up

  • Water Heater Replacement

  • Drain Cleaning

Adding a Job Type

  1. Click Add Job Type

  2. Enter the service name

  3. Add a short description explaining the service

  4. Toggle the job type Active

Disabling a Job Type

If a service is temporarily unavailable (for example seasonal work), you can:

  • Toggle the job type Off

  • Keep it saved without deleting it


Business Hours

Business Hours tell your AI agents when your team is available to respond to customers.

You can:

  • Set opening and closing times for each day

  • Mark specific days as Closed

  • Automatically apply your configured timezone

Accurate business hours ensure:

  • Calls are routed properly

  • The after-hours voice agent activates at the right times

  • Customers receive correct availability information


After-Hours Emergency Service

If your company provides emergency service outside normal business hours, you can enable After-Hours Emergency Service.

When enabled:

  • Customers will be informed that emergency support may be available

  • Your AI agents can guide urgent callers appropriately

This is particularly helpful for industries such as HVAC or plumbing where emergencies can occur.


Notifications

Notifications control who on your team is alerted when a new service request is created.

You can configure both email and SMS notifications.

Email Notifications

  • Add one or more email addresses

  • Each address receives an email alert when a new request arrives

SMS Notifications

  • Add one or more phone numbers

  • Each number receives a text message notification

Example setup:

  • Owner receives SMS alerts

  • Office manager receives email notifications

This ensures the right people are notified quickly.


FAQs

The FAQ section is a knowledge base your AI agents use to answer customer questions.

The more complete your FAQ library is, the more helpful your AI agents will be during conversations.

Adding an FAQ

  1. Click Add FAQ

  2. Choose or create a category

  3. Enter the question as a customer might ask it

  4. Enter the answer in clear, simple language

Example FAQs

Good FAQs often include common customer questions such as:

  • Do you offer free estimates?

  • How quickly can you come out?

  • What brands do you service?

  • Do you offer emergency service?

Example answer:

Yes, we offer free in-home estimates for all new customers.

  • Add all services you offer as job types

  • Define your service area carefully
