Maintenance Plans in Breezy allow you to offer recurring service agreements to your customers — helping you build long-term relationships and ensure steady recurring revenue. This guide walks you through how to enable, configure, and customize maintenance plans for your company.

Accessing Maintenance Plans

  1. Go to your Settings from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Maintenance Plans.

From here, you can enable or disable the feature entirely:

  • If you don’t plan to offer maintenance plans, simply toggle it off.

  • To start using it, toggle it on and proceed with configuration.

Default Tax Rate

You can set a default tax rate for all maintenance plans.
If your plans don’t require a specific tax setup, you can leave this set to None.

Included Services

Under “Included Services,” select which service categories or line items are covered for free within your maintenance plans.
For example, you may choose to include only Maintenance Services at no additional cost, while other service types remain billable.

This gives you full flexibility to define what each plan covers.

Renewal Settings

Decide how customers’ maintenance plans renew:

  • Auto Renew – Automatically renews plans each term without customer action.

  • Manual Renew – Requires customer consent each time.

  • Auto and Manual – Offers both options.

Choose the method that aligns with your company’s policies and customer agreements.

Plan Types

By default, Breezy provides sample plan types such as Silver and Bronze, which you can customize.
You can:

  • Edit existing plan types

  • Duplicate them for easy creation of similar plans

  • Deactivate any plan types you no longer offer

  • Create a New Plan (e.g., a “Gold” plan)

Creating a New Plan

When creating a new plan:

  1. Name your plan (e.g., Gold, Platinum, etc.)

  2. Add a description

  3. Set the number of visits per year (e.g., 3 visits for Gold, 2 for Silver)

  4. Define days until visits expire

  5. Choose your pricing model

Pricing Options

  • Flat Rate Pricing – One set price for all members.

  • Equipment-Based Pricing – Price varies depending on the customer’s equipment type.

Specify the flat rate or configure pricing by equipment type.

Billing Periods

Select how you’ll bill customers for their plan:

  • Annually

  • Monthly

  • or another frequency based on your business model.

Plan Discounts

You can define discounts that members receive under the plan — for example:

  • 10% off installations for Silver members

  • 5% off service calls for Bronze members

You can also add custom discount descriptions for clarity.

Terms and Conditions

Add your legal disclaimers and agreement terms here.
This section is where you define:

  • What’s covered or excluded

  • Renewal terms

  • Customer obligations and company commitments

Clear terms help prevent misunderstandings and ensure compliance.

Visual Branding

You can customize your plan’s appearance with:

  • Images or icons (e.g., plan medallions)

  • Colors for headers and accents

These elements help distinguish your plan tiers and make them visually appealing.

Equipment Coverage

Specify which equipment types are included in each plan.
For example:

  • Covered: Air Conditioners, Gas Furnaces

  • Not Covered: Water Heaters, Mini-Splits

You can set:

  • Included Service Types (e.g., Maintenance only)

  • Price per Service vs. Regular Price, to display discounts (e.g., $144 → $72)

This allows customers to clearly see the savings provided by their plan.

Turning the Feature On or Off

You can enable or disable the entire Maintenance Plan feature anytime.
Turning it off hides the feature from your company’s workflow and prevents new plan creation.

Next Steps

Once your maintenance plans are set up, you can:

  • Apply them to customer accounts

  • Manage renewals

  • Track plan usage and visits

  • View reports and renewals in the admin dashboard
