Under the settings section of the carrot admin, you will see a tab for "pickup" at the top. This section will control the settings for your online pickup orders. The order types available are:
Express: This is the standard pickup option. Enable this if you want customers to place an order online and come to your store to pick up the order.
Curbside: Enable this if you plan on bringing orders to the customer's car
Drivethru: Used for the standard drive-thru setup where customers order from a menu, or order ahead and pick up in a drive-thru
Mobile Pickup Window: This can be used as another standard pickup method where customers place the order online and pick it up at a designated window in the store
Locker: This is only used for customers who are using Amazon-style lockers
Kiosk: This is for orders placed in-store on a tablet or designated screen. If Carrot built your website, please add "/kiosk" to the end of your website URL to access the kiosk page. Kiosk orders are meant to be a quick checkout method for customers who are already in-store. This will not prompt customers to log in, and all orders will filter to the kiosk tab in the admin instead of pickup. If you notice it is requiring customers to log in, this means you are using the /store link instead of /kiosk.
Each order method will have its own visibility and hours of operation settings.
Visibility Settings
Disabled: This order method will not appear as an option for your staff in the admin or for your customers on the store.
Staff Only: This will only appear in the admin for your staff. This is typically used if you only want your staff to create orders for this order type and do not want your customers to see it as an option. An example of this would be if you want your staff to take drive-thru orders at a window, but do not want customers to be able to order ahead.
Staff and Customers: This is the recommended setting. This will allow your customers and your staff to choose this order method.
Hours of Operations Settings:
Set Status Manually: This should be used if you do not have a set schedule for your hours every day. You can use this to toggle the order methods, either open or closed
Set Status Automatically: This can be used if your order method will open and close at the same time every day
