A commercial co-venture (CCV) is a partnership where a business donates a portion of its sales to a nonprofit. It's an effective way to support a cause while promoting products. However, businesses must register as CCVs and adhere to reporting requirements in many jurisdictions. This guide helps merchants set up CCV campaigns on Change's platform. It covers onboarding, state registration, and compliance tracking, ensuring smooth campaign management while meeting regulatory requirements.

Creating an account on Change
Firstly, sign up for an account via https://api.getchange.io/sign_up.
Next, you will need to confirm your email.
Go to your email inbox and click Verify now.
Register as CCV
The next step is to register as a CCV. Click Continue โ.
Select Fill out the onboarding questionnaire to provide details of your CCV campaign and to generate information for all required state registrations.
Once you have submitted the Onboarding questionnaire, you can keep track of all tasks and state registrations via "Your timeline" in the Compliance section of the dashboard.
After submitting your onboarding questionnaire, the next step is to "Add a payment method" for monthly fees on Change.
