Spear Plays are ready-made routines maintained by our team — a catalog you can add to your profile in one click instead of building a routine from a blank canvas.
Where to find them — Agent → Routines → "Spear Plays" (also surfaced in the Routines empty state if you haven't built any yet).
Recommended for you — this row only shows plays that use tools your profile has already connected, so there's no extra setup needed to try them. Each card tells you why it's recommended (e.g. "Because HubSpot is connected"). A play drops off this row once you've added it.
All Plays — below the recommended row, browse the full catalog of available plays, including ones that need a tool you haven't connected yet.
Home page nudge — if you have unused recommended plays, a task on your home page points you to the tab. It marks itself done automatically once you've used them all.
Preview before adding — each play shows what it does and which data sources it needs, along with whether you're already connected to each one.
Add to profile — adding a play forks it into a normal routine that's fully yours. You can edit it however you like, and it's no longer linked to the original play, so future updates we make to the play won't touch your copy.
Scheduling — routines can run daily, every few days, weekly, or monthly, each at a time of day you choose.
