The Mortgage Interactive Recommendation page can be customized to suit many different purposes - it was originally created to help you confirm a Loan Structure with your client.

If you are wanting to learn how to do this with the static Mortgage Recommendation page, click here!

In this article you will learn:

  • Getting the Interactive Mortgage Recommendation Page ready

  • Confirming the Loan Structure

Getting the Interactive Recommendation ready

More on setting up your Interactive Mortgage Recommendation, click here.

1. Add relevant widgets

For a loan structure confirmation, you'll need both the Rates widget and the Loan Structure Confirmation widget. Learn about adding widgets here.

2. Add in the necessary rates information

By clicking on the Rates widget, you'll be able to add in all the rates the client has been offered by the bank. You can opt to:

  • Not display rates

  • Display only offered rates

  • Display offered vs. other rates (e.g. from another lender)

Select the boxes βœ… on the left of the Rate Type to reveal the text box for it and fill in the rates you want to display:

3. Add in the Loan Structure Information

By clicking on the Loan Confirmation widget, you'll be able to add in information about the loan structure you are recommending to your client. It can always be changed later if your client doesn't believe it suits their needs.

Quick Note πŸ’‘

This is mirrored if you have already filled out the Loan Structure table and Reason for Structure textbox for the Static Mortgage Recommendation page.

Clicking 'Add Loan Structure' will allow you to add the loan structure you are recommending to your client.

Important Note πŸ’‘

The only options that you will be able to select in 'Term' are the ones that you have entered in the Rates widget.

Now you're ready to present your Interactive Mortgage Recommendation page & confirm the loan structure πŸ‘ Read on below for how to do this!

Confirming the Loan Structure

Once you have activated the page, sent your client the link to view your recommendations, then you may choose to either let them do the confirmation themselves (have had a discussion already) or run it through with them.

The benefits of running it through with them over the phone, is you can discuss the recommended Loan Structure together and make live changes with your client before confirming the finalized structure. πŸ‘

Making Changes

If you and your client decide to change the recommended structure, you can update this while on the phone with them, as you can both be viewing the same page. You would access it here (see below) and they would be accessing it from the link you sent them.

Your client cannot make these changes, but they will be able to view the changes that you make through the Interactive Recommendations page, LIVE πŸŽ‰ This is even more effective if you turn ON the Mouse Tracking at the top right to see where each other is pointing to on the page:

Confirming Structure

Once you can confirm the finalized loan structure, your client can then click "Confirm Loan Structure":

This will open up a modal where they can:

  • Confirm Loan details are correct

  • Add an expected Settlement date

  • Add in Solicitor & Banking details

  • Check that they will sort their insurance requirements

  • Sign it to confirm the discussed structure - This is also for your internal compliance.

The client can then check "Recieve a copy by email" to get an email with PDF of the confirmed Recommendation attached πŸ‘

For Record Keeping

From here, you'll have all information needed to fill in the lender's loan structure confirmation documents - you will recieve an email immediately with the signed copy of your Mortgage Recommendation:
