Managing your subscription

Upgrading, switching to yearly, cancelling, and what happens when a payment fails.

Everything here lives in Settings, then Billing.

Changing plan

Pick the plan you want on the Billing tab in Settings. Moving up takes effect immediately and your credit allowance follows.

You are granted the difference rather than a fresh allowance. If you have 1,400 of 2,000 credits left and move to a 6,000 plan, you end up with 5,400. Moving down caps your balance at the new allowance instead of wiping it.

Monthly and yearly

Switch with the toggle on the Billing tab in Settings. Yearly is nine months for twelve, and yearly plans still receive their credits monthly rather than as one lump.

Ending a trial early

If you are on a trial and want to start paying now, use the upgrade action on the Billing tab in Settings. You are charged in full immediately, the trial ends, and your plan's credits become available straight away.

Cancelling

Cancel on the Billing tab in Settings. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the page shows the exact date.

After that the workspace moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted. Your chats, docs, Watchlists, brand and voice all stay. Your weekly brief keeps running, because it is included on the free plan too.

If you change your mind before the end date there is a Keep my plan button that stops the cancellation.

Downgrading with more than the new plan allows

Nothing is destroyed. Workspaces above your new limit are locked rather than deleted, and open again if you upgrade. Watchlists you already have stay, but you cannot create new ones past the limit.

When a payment fails

You keep paid access while Stripe retries. You will see a prompt to update your payment method, and updating it is the whole fix.

If collection never succeeds the subscription ends and the workspace moves to the free plan. Three card problems have their own messages, and they mean what they say: prepaid cards are not accepted, there were not enough funds, or the card details could not be verified. See Payment and card problems.

Invoices

Settings, then Invoices lists every payment on the workspace with its status, and receipts are issued by Stripe.
