Managing your subscription

Upgrading, downgrading, switching billing frequency, handling failed payments, and cancelling your Vamos subscription.

Everything billing-related lives at Settings → Billing.

Upgrading your plan

From Free to paid

  1. Go to Settings → Billing (or click any "Upgrade" button in the app).

  2. Pick Pro or Business.

  3. Pick Monthly or Yearly (yearly = 3 months free).

  4. Enter payment details.

Your full credit allocation unlocks immediately.

Upgrading early from a 7-day trial

If you're mid-trial and you already know you want to stay:

  1. Click Upgrade in the app.

  2. You're charged the full plan amount immediately.

  3. Your account unlocks the full plan credits (2,000 for Pro, 6,000 for Business) right away — no waiting for the trial to end.

From Pro to Business

  • Settings → Billing → Upgrade to Business

  • You're charged the prorated difference.

  • Extra workspaces + credits activate immediately.

Switching between monthly and yearly

Monthly → yearly

  • Charged the yearly amount immediately.

  • You save ~25% (pay for 9 months, get 12).

  • Current month's unused credits are forfeited at the switch.

Yearly → monthly

  • Takes effect at the end of your current yearly term.

  • No refund for the unused portion of the year.

Downgrading

Business → Pro

  1. Settings → Billing → Change Plan

  2. Select Pro.

  3. Takes effect at next billing cycle.

⚠️ You lose access to extra workspaces (you only keep 1). Move essential content from other workspaces to your main one before downgrading.

Cancelling

  1. Click Cancel Subscription.

  2. Confirm.

Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. After that, you revert to Free (30 credits, chat + Canvas + save only — no Brand Profile, Inspiration, or Profile Analyst).

No contracts, no commitments. Cancel anytime.

Failed payments

If your payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.):

  • Your plan does not upgrade or renew.

  • You'll see a notice in the app pointing you to billing.

  • Head to Settings → Billing to update your card.

  • Once the charge goes through, your plan activates/renews normally.

If you hit issues updating your card or you're not sure what went wrong, email contact@getvamos.ai with your account email and we'll sort it.

Extra credit packs

If you burn through your monthly credits, buy a one-time pack on the Billing page. Packs never expire.

Refunds

Eligibility

  • Request within 7 days of purchase.

  • Email contact@getvamos.ai with your account email and the reason.

  • We review each case individually.

Processing

  • 3–10 business days for approved refunds to appear in your account.

After 7 days

  • Full refunds are not available.

  • Partial refunds may be considered case-by-case — reach out and explain the situation.

Invoices and receipts

All receipts are auto-emailed when you're charged. You can also download past invoices from Settings → Billing.

Need an invoice with company details (VAT ID, etc.)? Email contact@getvamos.ai and we'll generate a custom one.
