Your voice is not something you describe to Vamos. It is derived from things you have actually written.
That distinction is the whole method. A description of your tone produces writing that matches the description. Samples of your writing produce writing that matches you.
Adding samples
My Brand, then Voice, then Content samples.
A sample can be a post, a profile Vamos reads posts from, a document, or text you paste in. Anything where the words are yours.
Add one and Vamos reads it and updates your voice immediately. It tells you what changed, so you can see the effect of a single sample.
Voice strength
Above the samples is a score of how solid your voice is, and it names what would sharpen it rather than just giving you a number.
The target is around ten samples. Below that the voice is thinner and more likely to drift between drafts.
It also flags two things that matter more than raw count. If you post on a platform Vamos has no sample from, it says so, because how you write on TikTok is not how you write on LinkedIn. And if every sample is the same kind of post, it asks for a different format, because a voice derived only from talking-head scripts will not carry a written caption.
Editing the report
You can edit the derived voice directly, and your edits are kept. Add another sample afterwards and Vamos retrains around what you wrote rather than overwriting it.
Improve in chat is the other way to change it. Say what is wrong in plain language and Vamos adjusts the report.
Testing it
Test it writes a short post in your voice so you can judge it against something concrete. Do this after adding a few samples rather than guessing from the report.
Removing samples and starting over
Removing a sample makes Vamos re-derive the voice from what is left, and manual edits to affected sections may be rewritten. Removing your last sample clears the voice entirely.
Reset voice wipes both the report and its samples. It cannot be undone, so use it when the voice was built from the wrong material rather than when it needs a tweak.
Why it is worth the effort
Every draft in the product is written from this. Scripts, captions, briefs, the drafts attached to your weekly brief. It is the single setting with the widest effect on whether the output is usable or generic.
