Going viral on short-form isn't magic — it's pattern replication with your own spin. This workflow builds a system you can run every week: find what's working, template it, batch-produce, ship.
Phase 1 — Research and pattern analysis
Step 1: Find top performers in your niche
"Search for the top 20 videos about [your niche] on TikTok and Instagram Reels from the past 30 days. Show me the full list."
Vamos shows them visually — you can browse before reading the analysis.
Step 2: Identify the patterns
"Analyze these 20 videos. Identify: - Most common hook styles - Content structures that repeat - CTAs that work best - Optimal video length range - Editing / format trends (text overlays, cut pacing, music use)"
Step 3: Pick your top 3 formats
"Based on this research, what are the 3 most effective video formats I should focus on for [your niche]? Rank by: ease of execution, reach potential, fit with my content pillars."
Three formats is the sweet spot — enough variety for viewers, few enough to master.
Phase 2 — Build your templates
Step 4: Create format templates
"Create 3 short-form script templates based on the formats you identified. For each: - Hook structure - Body outline (timing breakdown) - CTA framework - Example opening line"
Example templates you might end up with:
"Myth vs. Reality" — call out a common belief, flip it, explain why
"3 Tips" — promise value upfront, deliver three points fast
"Transformation Story" — before → after → what I did
Save these. They become your starting point for every new script.
Step 5: Build a hook library
"Give me 50 viral hook frameworks for short-form video. Mix styles: pattern-interrupt, curiosity, contrarian, pain-point, social proof, transformation."
Pick 20 that fit your niche, save them. Now you have a menu when the blank page hits.
Phase 3 — Content batching
Step 6: Topic list generation
"Based on my content pillars [list pillars], give me 50 video topic ideas that would work for TikTok and Instagram Reels."
Step 7: Batch script creation by template
"Using Template 1 (Myth vs. Reality), write 10 scripts about: [paste 10 topics from your list]"
Repeat for Templates 2 and 3. You now have 30 scripts generated and each in its own Canvas for editing.
Step 8: Save the winners
Don't save all 30 — review ruthlessly, save your top 12–15, scrap the rest. Diluting your library with mediocre content doesn't help future-you.
Prompt recipes
Find formats for your niche
"Analyze the top 30 videos in [niche]. What are the 5 most common video structures? Create templates for each."
Topic generation
"I post about [topics]. Give me 50 video ideas across these themes that would work for TikTok and Reels."
Hook batching
"Using the 'pattern interrupt' hook style, write 20 different hooks for videos about [your topics]."
Multi-format for one topic
"Topic: [topic]. Create 3 different scripts: 1. Educational / tips format 2. Story / transformation format 3. Myth-busting format"
Trend adaptation
"What's trending on TikTok this week in [niche]? Create 5 scripts adapting these trends to my content pillars."
Monthly planning rhythm
Week 1 — Research
"What's working on short-form in [niche] this month? Analyze the top performers and surface patterns I should be using."
Week 2 — Batch create
Use your templates + topic list to batch 30+ scripts.
Week 3 — Film / polish
Film your saved scripts. Use Canvas highlight-to-edit for last-minute tightening.
Week 4 — Analyze what worked
"These 5 videos of mine performed well: [paste URLs]. What patterns made them work? Add these patterns to my Memory so I use them more."
The feedback loop is the point. Memory saves what worked so future scripts lean into your winning patterns.
Tips
Three formats, not ten. Master three structures before adding more.
Hook first, always. First 2 seconds decide whether anyone watches the rest.
Batch once, polish many times. Generate 30 scripts in a batch, polish each before filming.
Track what worked in Memory. Tell Vamos "These 3 videos blew up. Save what they have in common to memory."
Reuse templates ruthlessly. If a format works, run it until it stops working. Don't over-vary for the sake of variety.
