Ask for the finished job, not the next step. That is most of it.
Ask for the job
Vamos does the research, the analysis and the writing in one go. A prompt that stops at the research makes you do the joining up.
"Find the top skincare videos this week" gets you a list.
"Find what is working in skincare this week and write me three posts from it" gets you the posts, and costs less, because the research is read once rather than re-established in a second message.
Name the output
Say what you want to end up holding. A script, three hooks, a brief, a report, a month of captions. Vamos writes very different things and guessing costs you a round trip.
Add the constraint that actually matters: how long, which platform, how many.
Give it the window
"Recently" is not a window. "The last 90 days", "this week", "the last month" are.
It matters most on competitor work. Their best-ever video is a distraction. Their best video this month is a lesson.
Say what you do not want
The fastest way to improve output is to reject something specific. "Not a listicle." "Do not open with a question." "Less formal than that."
Say it once and Vamos remembers it across chats. See How Memory works.
Stay in one chat
For one project, keep going in the same chat. Vamos still has everything it read, so follow-ups are better and cheaper. Re-reading in the same chat costs a tenth of the normal rate.
Start a new chat when the subject genuinely changes.
What not to bother with
Do not paste your brand details. They are in My Brand and read automatically. If Vamos does not know something about you, fix it there rather than in every prompt.
Do not ask it to be creative or think step by step. Those add nothing here.
Do not describe your voice. Add samples instead. See Teach Vamos your voice.
If a prompt is thin
Improve prompt in the composer rewrites it with more to work with, and shows you the rewrite before sending. Useful when you know what you want and cannot be bothered to spell it out.
Four that work
Break down @competitor's last 90 days. Which videos beat their own average, and what did they do differently?
Read the comments on this video and give me five content ideas from what people are actually asking.
Take my three best posts from last month and turn each into a new one on a different angle.
Plan next week: three posts, each with a hook and a full script, based on what is working in my niche now.
