Create a WhatsApp Template

Adapt your message to your brand image

Updated over 3 months ago

Adding custom templates saves time, improves message efficiency, and provides a smooth and targeted user experience, while facilitating the automation of interactions.

Step 1: Add a template to your flow

To integrate a template into your flow:

  • Click on the Template block.

  • Drag it into the gray space where you want to add it.

  • Select the template and click on "Create Template" to start configuring it.

Step 2: Configure a template

Choose a category

When creating your template, choose a category:

  • Marketing: Promotional messages (e.g., special offers).

  • Utility: Customer experience-related messages (e.g., review requests, post-purchase notifications).

For a limited-time offer like Black Friday, use the Marketing template "Limited Time Offer."

Name your template

Give your template a name visible only internally, to better organize your campaigns.
You can also define languages for multilingual messages.

Add personalization elements

In the Header & Body section, personalize your message:

  • Add images, videos, or rich text (with emojis).

  • Insert variables like the customer's first name (with a default value if the data is missing).

  • View your changes directly in the preview on the left.

To insert a variable:

  • Click on the desired location.

  • Select a variable from the list and add a default value.

Add buttons

Depending on your WhatsApp use case, adding buttons to your messages allows you to simplify the user experience, speed up interactions, and encourage actions like purchasing or browsing the website.

Step 3: Finalize and validate your template

  • Save as draft: If the message is not finalized.

  • Submit: Send your template for approval. Once validated, it will be ready to send.
