This guide will help you understand and resolve common errors that appear when submitting templates on WAX. Here are the main errors and their solutions:


To Edit Your Template and Fix Errors:

Click on your template โ†’ Duplicate Template. A new version will be generated.


1. "Incorrect Category"

Issue: An incorrect category is assigned to the template.

Solution:

Ensure the entire flow is assigned to the same category:

โœ… One category = One flow.

  • Make sure that all templates within a Utility flow belong to the Utility category.

  • Similarly, all templates in a Marketing flow should be in the Marketing category.

๐Ÿ“Œ If your first template is a "Limited Time Offer", it will be considered a Marketing template. As a result, all subsequent templates in the flow may also be classified as Marketing.

Verify that the entire flow is submitted under the correct category:

  • Ensure the template message aligns with the appropriate category (Utility or Marketing).

  • If promotional words are included, the template will automatically be classified as Marketing.

  • Choosing Utility when promotional content is present will lead to rejection.


2. "Component Type of Body is Missing"

  • Ensure that all required components (text, image, buttons, etc.) are present.

  • Access the template editor and add the missing elements.

  • Double-check the template structure before resubmitting.


3. "Language Not Supported"

  • Check the supported languages in WAX settings.

  • Modify the content to use a compatible language.

  • If a specific language is essential, contact WAX support to request its integration.


4. "Media URL Invalid"

  • Ensure the URL is correctly formatted and points to a valid file.

  • Test the URL in a browser to confirm accessibility.

5. "Empty Header or Footer Sections" (Final name TBD)

  • Ensure these sections comply with WAX template requirements.
