Two different template options, which is best to use and when?

Giftbit has two different choices for setting reward options for recipients, Customized and Full Catalog, each having different requirements for set up.

Customized

Customized is the ability for you, the sender, to set exactly which brands the recipient can pick from. This option is ideal if you are wanting to keep the choices under 15 or less, or you may be wanting to send a very specific group of brands. An example would be buying coffee or lunch for your recipients, you would want to only select the brands that fit that use. If you want to send a physical Visa Incentive Card, you will need to use customized as your option.

Full Catalog

Full Catalog allows you to offer all our brands at the value you are offering to your recipients, giving them a wide range of options to choose from based on their individual tastes and preferences. This approach ensures a personalized and meaningful connection with your recipient.

๐Ÿ’กPhysical Visa and 1-800 brands are currently not available in Full Catalog. Use Customized if you would like to send your recipients these options.

Is there a difference in the redemption experience for Customized and Full Catalog?

The overall experience is essentially the same. Your recipients will still receive a reward email or Giftbit link from you.

  • If they receive full catalog, their reward email will contain a link that will take them to our catalog browser.

  • If they receive a custom selection of brands, they will have to select one of the brands you offered to them from the initial email or link.

    • If you have selected 12 or more brands, they will be taken to the catalog experience only showing the brands you have provided.

I offered a full catalog to my recipients, but some brands were missing. Why were certain brands not included?

Some brands may only offer rewards in very specific denominations. If a brand only allows for $50 gifts and you send $25, that brand will not be a selectable option.

Is there any difference in pricing?

There are no changes at all to the pricing structure of Giftbit. All pricing information can be found here.

With full catalog, can I include all brands except a select few or pick what brands I want to offer?

Currently, there is no way to limit the brands accessible to recipients when selecting Full Catalog. However, with the custom selection option, you can select specific brands and create a curated reward offering.

Can I still see what recipients chose when they redeemed their reward?

Absolutely! You can access this information from the contact page (using the recipient's email), inside the order you are searching for, and from running an operations report. Info on reporting can be found here.
