Save a layout to My Layouts, then share it with a person, a team, or your whole workspace.
Use My Layouts for layouts that only some of your team needs, like a flow-building layout or a presentation layout. Anyone you share a layout with can add it too. A layout saved in a project only shows in projects, and a layout saved in a space only shows in spaces.
To give everyone the same layouts in every new project, build them into your project template instead.
Save a layout to My Layouts
Right-click a layout tab.
Choose Save to My Layouts.
Enter a Layout name and click Save.
The layout now shows under My Layouts when you click + next to the layout tabs.
My Layouts are saved to a workspace. If the project has no workspace, Giraffe shows a toast at the bottom of the screen: "My Layouts are saved to a workspace, and this project has none."
Share a layout from the layout tabs
Click + next to the layout tabs.
Under My Layouts, click the share icon next to the layout.
In the Share window, add a person, a team, or your workspace.
The share icon only shows for layouts you're an admin of.
Share a layout from Home
On Home, click Layout Templates under My Content in the left sidebar.
Click the Share icon on the layout's row, or right-click the row and choose Share.
In the Share window, add a person, a team, or your workspace.
Each row shows who the layout is shared with, or Not shared. Right-click a row to Rename, Color, Share, or Delete the layout, or double-click it to rename. Learn more in Manage Layout Templates.
Use a shared layout
To add a layout someone shared with you, click + next to the layout tabs and choose it under My Layouts.
