Giraffe elements that you have drawn have geometric properties (like area) and also the parameters you have applied to them.
Without properties, the geometry in Giraffe is just shapes. Properties add data about the objects that can be leveraged in Analytics.

Properties in Giraffe allow you to tell your project story. Use properties to control everything from giving all the residential buildings the same hardCost to making all annotations color = "blue." Giraffe comes pre-loading with many properties and you can create your own.
