While Chariot currently doesn't offer a direct integration with Fundraise Up, we provide easy-to-follow solutions that enable Fundraise Up nonprofits to easily get started with DAFpay.

Follow the three simple steps below:

  1. Building a DAF ways to give page

  2. Linking to that page in your Fundraise Up form

  3. Updating your navigation bar accordingly

Dozens of high-impact nonprofits have already asked Fundraise Up to add DAF payments. Please fill out this 30-second form created by the head of FundraiseUp partnerships.

Part 1: Building a DAF "ways to give" page using the DAFpay Tile

Update or create a Donor Advised Fund page with the DAFpay Tile. While you're there, it's worth updating the language on that page. Visit our ways to give marketing page for more information on language best practices.

It's also worth updating the link address to any DAF ways to give page for SEO. The best practice is always - nonprofit.org/donor-advised-funds

Part 2: Linking that DAF page to your FRU donate page

The next step is adding a hyperlink to the text section of your FundraiseUp donation form to link out to your new Donor Advised Fund ways to give page. See two example images below:

Recommendations:

  1. The colored, bold, underlined text with hyperlink is best wherever possible. Online Donor Advised Fund payments is a new capability that you want every potential DAF donor to self-filter into. If the text is small and grey, the chances of capturing these donors are greatly reduced.

  2. Use the term 'Donor Advised Fund' instead of DAFs. While we may be familiar with the term DAF, many DAF donors are not!

Part 3: Changing your navigation bar

Now that you have a new DAF ways to give page that seamlessly accepts DAF payments, you should make sure to add an easy way to get to it in your navigation bar.

Adding the full phrase "Give with Donor Advised Fund" on your navigation should help clarify that this is not just an informational page as many of your donors may be used to - instead, it is a place where they can actually donate.
