Ensuring that every task meets set QA standards is critical. At times, this process identifies the need for rectification work to address any discrepancies found. This article will guide you through the steps to manage and complete rectification works effectively, ensuring your QA checklists are completed accurately and efficiently.

Adding New Rectification Works

When a task within your QA checklist requires rectification, it's essential to add and manage these rectification works promptly. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Identify the Task Needing Rectification: Navigate to the QA checklist and locate the task that requires rectification. Tap the rectification work icon.

  2. Add Rectification Work: In the rectification work section, click on the “Add” button. This action allows you to specify the work that needs to be addressed.

  3. Enter Details and Assign a Resource: Provide a clear, detailed description of the rectification work required and assign the responsible person or team to ensure accountability and facilitate tracking.

Completion Requirement: It's important to note that QA checklists cannot be considered complete until all rectification works have been addressed and marked as completed. This step ensures that no task is overlooked, maintaining the integrity of your QA process.

Completing Rectification Works

Once the rectification work has been added and assigned, the next step is the completion of these tasks. Here’s how you can mark rectification works as done:

  1. Identify and Access Incomplete Rectification Work: In the checklist overview, incomplete rectification tasks are highlighted by a grey bubble indicating the number of pending tasks, making them easy to spot. Click on the icon next to the checklist item with rectification needs to navigate directly to the section listing all rectification works, facilitating quick access and prioritisation of tasks requiring attention.

  2. Locate the Rectification Work: Find the specific rectification work that has been completed or is ready to be marked as done.

  3. Mark as Done: Once the work is completed, click on “Mark as Done”. This action updates the task status, moving it from an open to a completed state.

Completing rectification works is a critical step in the QA process, ensuring that all aspects of a project meet the required standards before final approval. By following these steps, you can manage rectification works efficiently, contributing to the overall quality and success of your projects.
