What is the online glamaCo Returns, Refunds, and Warranties policy?

At glamaCo, we want you to love every purchase. If something isn't quite right, our returns policy makes it easy to resolve.

Our Returns Policy

If you receive any items that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply return them to us within 60 days in the condition that you received them, and we will happily offer a store credit or refund (depending on the reason for return—see below for details).

  • Timeline: Returns must be initiated within 60 days of receiving your order.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all accessories intact. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on used or opened personal care items unless faulty.

  • Exclusions: Perishable goods, custom-made items, and certain electrical products may have additional restrictions (see Faulty Items section below). Gift cards are non-returnable.

Reasons for Return

When initiating a return, you can select from the following options:

Has a Problem (Eligible for refund or replacement, with free return shipping covered by glamaCo):

  • Faulty item

  • Wrong item sent

  • An item is missing

  • Arrived damaged

Changed My Mind (Eligible for store credit only, after we receive the item; you must pay for return shipping):

  • Not what I was expecting

  • I made a mistake

For electrical items after 60 days, the only selectable option is "Faulty item" under "Has a Problem." We may require proof of fault or direct you to manufacturer warranties.

How to Return an Online Purchase

You can lodge a return/refund here.

Once you've started the process:

  1. Select the items and reason for return (from the options above).

  2. For "Changed My Mind" returns, you'll see store credit as the resolution and be prompted to pay for shipping costs.

  3. Print the return shipping label (free for "Has a Problem" reasons) and securely pack your items in their original packaging.

  4. Drop off at your nearest post office or carrier and keep your tracking number.

  5. Once we receive and inspect the items, we'll process your refund (to original payment method) or store credit (emailed as a glamaCo e-gift card) within 7-10 business days.

Have You Received My Returned Items?

To check the status of your return:

  • Log back into your returns section (via glama.co/apps/returns or your account) for real-time updates, including tracking and processing status.

  • Contact Us: If it's been more than 10 business days since shipping, reach out with your order number and tracking details. We'll investigate and update you promptly.

Typical timelines: Delivery to our warehouse takes 3-7 business days within Australia, followed by inspection and resolution.

What to Do If an Item Purchased Online Is Faulty

We're sorry if your item isn't working as expected! Follow these steps:

  1. Within 60 Days: Use the returns portal (via glama.co/apps/returns or your account) and select "Faulty item" under "Has a Problem." We'll cover return shipping and offer a refund, replacement, or repair based on stock availability.

  2. After 60 Days (Electrical Items Only): Contact us directly with proof of purchase and details of the issue. We may guide you through troubleshooting or refer you to the manufacturer.

  3. Proof Required: Photos or descriptions of the fault help speed things up. For major faults, you may be entitled to a refund under Australian Consumer Law.

All faulty returns are assessed upon receipt to confirm the issue.

Manufacturers Warranties

Many of our products, especially electrical items like hair tools and beauty devices, come with manufacturer warranties.

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have rights beyond manufacturer warranties for faulty goods. If you believe your item doesn't meet these guarantees, let us know—we'll help resolve it.
